Class ratios are 8:1 for non parent assisted classes and 20:1 for parent assisted classes.  These ratios allow appropriate supervision levels to ensure maximum safety and also allow proper levels of attention to be given to each participant’s development and enjoyment

If the specific class you are interested in is not available if might be worth checking if there is another time and day that the class you are looking for is scheduled and that could suit you. If there isn’t an alternative day available that suits then there will be a waiting list available for the specific time and day that you would like to register your child for.

An email will be sent out to all the parents who have signed up to a waiting notification list for a specific class if a space becomes available. This space is not prioritised to any potential member and the first person to sign up their child for this space (from the notification list or someone who is not on the notification list but sees that the spot is available on iClassPro) will secure a place for their child in this class.

The membership year from Origin Gymnastics runs from 1st September to 31st August. Motor milestones classes run year round and each class is paid for individually with places being filled on a first come first served basis.

For recreational and pre school gymnastics classes participants take part in one class per week outside of school holiday times, totalling 40 classes per year, with a monthly membership subscription being charged from September to June.

Our members get first access to holiday camps as well as first access to the September classes of the following membership year when the opportunity comes for participants’ Origin Gymnastics memberships to be renewed

Origin Gymnastics is affiliated with Gymnastics Ireland who provide various benefits to Origin Gymnastics and our members including personal accident insurance for our members and a robust suite of member welfare policies and support.

There are also external competitive and participation event opportunities that Gymnastics Ireland provides for our members. Non members of Origin Gymnastics may take part in up to 3 taster sessions, after which they must join as members of Origin Gymnastics and become members of Gymnastics Ireland.

The Gymnastics Ireland membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August and an annual membership to Gymnastics Ireland will need to be purchased for each member of Origin Gymnastics. Origin Gymnastics will collect this Gymnastics Ireland membership payment alongside the initial membership paid for the first class/es that the participant will take part in at our centre and will pass it on to Gymnastics Ireland. At the start of each new Gymnastics Ireland membership year each current member’s membership needs to be renewed and a new annual membership will need to be paid.

The Gymnastics Ireland membership prices for the current membership year are €40 for recreational members and €30 for recreational members aged under 4 and these prices remain the same regardless of the date within the Gymnastics Ireland membership year that the participant becomes a member of Origin Gymnastics.

If a participant becomes a member after one or more classes has run during a particular month for the participant’s first month of membership only the classes that were run after the participant was registered as a member will need to be paid for as part of the membership subscription for the participant

Participants should wear items of clothing to their classes that are suitable for gymnastics activities and that are not too baggy. E.g. Shorts / leggings / tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt, socks and a jumper at the start of the class on a colder day.

Long hair must be tied back in a tidy manner so that it is kept secure for the duration of the class. Please pay attention to the rules on jewellery and adornments in our policies section (point 6 in the section on “Additional Origin Gymnastics policies to note”)

We do not offer refunds apart from in a situation where a participant gets injured while participating in one of our services. We would refund any classes missed due to injury in this case once we receive a medical certificate from you. If a service is not able to run as planned we will do our best to provide a makeup service on a suitable date and will issue a refund if no makeup can be arranged (except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control - e.g. adverse weather conditions)

For regular classes they should just bring a water bottle that is labelled. Only water should be consumed during our gymnastics classes unless a specific medical need dictates otherwise. For holiday camps participants should also bring a packed lunch.

Please sign up to the new class immediately so that you are able to secure a spot before someone else does and then email us about this change so that we can remove your payment subscription for you child’s previous class
